This is badly needed, again an early morning addition leaving Dublin to be in Galway by 9am would be a game changing addition for working commuters, those attending meetings etc. First train arrives in Galway after 10am at present, leaving people resorting to cars! Iarnród Éireann

Congrats Salthill Devon FC & Salthill Fives for organising an excellent day 1 of a weekend tournament. Atmosphere is electric. Let the ☀️ stay with us for the weekend! 👏

“He understands more than anyone what this city needs,” says eveanna ryan who is supporting me in my campaign to be elected this Friday. Thanks, Eveanna, for your endorsement and for joining the Team4Change on the doorsteps last night! #ChangeInAction #Team4Change #VoteDeery

The very best of luck to all at the Chambers Ireland national awards & to the team from Galway Chamber Galway Culture Company PorterShed & attending. I’m sorry I can’t be there but hopefully you’ll have some crystal home with you!! 🏆

The count, the tallying, the transfers. This count was an enjoyable rollercoaster. Congratulations to Gary, Elaine Naughton (aka Lainey Grey) & the team at Galway City Council for their professionalism in facilitating the last two days.

Congrats Dushyant Singh & team PorterShed on delivering an excellent NDRC founder weekend here in Galway. 30 teams participated in what has been an excellent two days of learning, networking & pitching. 👏

Great crowd at this mornings KPMG Ireland Budget 2025 breakfast briefing. Laurence May opening the session with an insightful perspective on the potential impact of yesterdays budget at the The Galmont Hotel & Spa

Great to be at the Sherry FitzGerald Galway briefing where Tony Kavanagh has opened proceedings talking too the planning reform that’s required to deliver on our housing needs & ambitions.

Superb convo between Paul Cheek & John Breslin in PorterShed focusing on entrepreneurship, value propositions, ideation & scaling with MIT Sloan School of Management & Galway City Innovation District (GCID) Smiling take away, ‘engineers have friends too!’
