This is the last reply from the council on 25/10/2021about the £450k #LFC and #EFC promised to Grassroots football in Liverpool,5 years on and not a penny has come across, I continue to ask the question what’s happened to this £££ and urge all clubs/teams to ask the same question

The Football Foundation was set up in July 2000 as a partnership between The Premier League, The FA and the Government to address underinvestment in grassroots football. The initial funding was £20m each. 25 years on look below to what grassroots football now receives ?

No football player was ever born in a academy they ALL start off at grassroots football and we should never forget this

Imagine if #LFC had paid their share of this £450k below, then maybe they wouldn’t have to go out and pay £40m for Kerkez £116m for Wirtz £29.5m for Frimpong because the future players are here in Liverpool and they just need some financial help/support along the way #EFC

The FREE volunteers of grassroots football can't continue to keep propping it up with our free time and in many cases are own money while those at the top of the pyramid get richer and richer, more funds need to reach the base of the pyramid grassroots football
