This week, Keolis hosted “Meet the Managers” events in North and South Station as part of our annual “Share the Love” sweepstakes, inviting passengers to share why they love taking the MBTA Commuter Rail, give feedback and ask questions. Thank you to everyone who participated!

Congrats to our Marketing Team for winning First Place in the APTA AdWheel Awards competition! The team took home the award for Best Electronic Media to Increase Ridership for the "Just Take the Train” campaign, which was created in close partnership with the MBTA.

Keolis is proud to partner with the MBTA to bring MBTA Commuter Rail to the South Coast with the Fall River/New Bedford Line. This new service area is comparable in scale to entire commuter rail systems in other parts of the U.S., with 6 stations, 36 miles of track, and 349 weekly trips.

Yesterday, 30+ Keolis managers attended a “Fare is Fair” event to prepare MBTA Commuter Rail riders for the fare gates coming to South Station this summer and Back Bay this fall. This effort is a part of our commitment to improve and modernize Commuter Rail fare collection practices.

Tomorrow, Keolis will continue the “Fare is Fair” initiative at South Station with staff scanning mobile tickets and checking passes before passengers board their trains, in preparation for the fare gates coming to South Station this summer.

A big thank you to our Keolis team for their hard work and dedication over the past few days during the Concord250 and Marathon Monday festivities - and thank you to everyone who choose Commuter Rail as their mode of transportation!

Today, Keolis welcomed middle and high school students from the Girl Scouts E Mass for a career day about the railroad industry. The group met with Keolis team members from various departments who showcased the career paths available in transportation!

This week Keolis awarded a total of $50,000 in scholarships to 25 high school seniors from five cities in the MBTA Commuter Rail service area: Boston, Brockton, Lawrence, Lynn and Worcester. Thank you to Governor Healey, state and local officials who joined us to celebrate these students!

At Keolis, we are committed to a proactive safety culture, employee wellbeing, and continuous improvement in workplace safety management. This May, Keolis Commuter Services’ entire occupational health and safety management system was formally certified to ISO 45001:2018 by LRQA.

It was a beautiful day to visit Lynn Interim Station to plant flowers and deliver spring MBTA Commuter Rail schedules and rider’s guides to the Lynn Council on Aging Senior Center. During #KeolisWayWeek we highlight our continued commitment to our people, passengers, planet and partners.

Congratulations to the KCS Marketing Team for their Emmy-winning 2024 TRACKed campaign for the MBTA Commuter Rail! The team earned a New England Emmy Award in the "Branded Content" category for TRACKed, a year-in-review campaign that was brought to life on Massbytrain.com/tracked.

The Fairmount Line Decarbonization Program is an exciting first step in transforming MBTA Commuter Rail and we’re committed to keeping the community informed. Yesterday we met with @FairmountCollab to discuss ongoing trackwork and the plan to bring battery electric service to the line.

We recently held cleanup events at Four Corners/Geneva, Talbot Ave and Morton St - planting flowers & beautifying stations for MBTA Commuter Rail riders. Thanks to our community partners: Four Corners Main St, @FairmountCollab, Redefining Our Community and Boston International Newcomers Academy!

In partnership with Operation Lifesaver, Keolis hosted a resource table at the BGCDorchester “Teen Takeover” event. Our staff shared important information about train safety, educating attendees on how to stay safe around railroad crossings and train tracks. #SeeTracksThinkTrain
