Dr Kerry Jordan-Daus SFHEA, FFCT @cllrtrisosborne That’s lovely to hear Kerry. All my CCCU PGCE Geographers were always carefully selected because I knew they had such a great future potential. Creating a team of Geographers each academic year was imperative.

Goodness. Fancy thinking you are a credible opposition after you spent 10 years in power squabbling over two Local Plans; and then saying nothing on the current one. Not. Credible.

It was powerful to hear directly from parents, carers, and young people, including 17-year-old Katie, on BBC Woman's Hour today. Their stories highlight the urgent need to tackle the SEND crisis. We hear countless frustrating and heartbreaking experiences just like these every day

‘Children need their needs met. When their needs are met, we see them thrive’ In our special Woman’s Hour from the BBC Radio Theatre, Nuala McGovern looked at support for kids with Special Educational Needs & Disabilities (SEND) in England & the mums trying to access it for them ⬇️

‘Fighting every step is so hard' Katie, 17, is autistic and has barely been to school since she was 13. She joined Nuala McGovern to discuss her experience as a child navigating England’s Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) system, and how it has impacted her.

I was in Folkestone for a WomenEd 10%Braver #DisruptiveWomen book launch event with Dr Kerry Jordan-Daus SFHEA, FFCT & I couldn't go all that way and not go to the beach! I had a milkshake as I couldn't get an icecream & took myself out for an explore. The harbour is gorgeous & I will be back. #MakeItCount #teacher5aday
