Our World Book Day Book and Bake sale went fantastically well today, as well as the Year 7 Literature Quiz, ably assisted by the wonderful pupil librarians and the Kids Lit team members.

Students in Year 8, 9 and 10 had their first school rugby fixture for over 18 months this week, there were some great performances at Nelson Thomlinson School, with wins for the Year 8 and 10 teams - well done everyone who took part!

Year 11 football team narrowly lost 2-1 to Workington Academy in the county cup last night. Well done to goal scorer Will Jones and to Robbie Savage for collecting man of the match.

The weather has been helping our Year 9 students test the windsocks they have been making from recycled Para-ponts and tents. There were lots of fish, ghosts, dragons, turtles, octopus and pigs and a couple of sheep on display.
