        Simon Harris TD told Pearse Doherty of VAT on energy being 9%. Half of Ireland's energy comes from liquid fuels, and it is ALL subject to a higher level of VAT than 9%.         Business Post If the response to risk of fraud is to limit use of legitimate biofuels feedstocks then legislators and regulators have not only failed, they have conceded. Industry, consumers and the environment deserve so much more.
