Really pleased to see this authors.elsevier.com/sd/article/S26… finally published. Bacteria-based self-healing concrete leads to more sustainable concrete structures. But still more research and development is needed to optimise and improve what we have. Noemi Arena Bianca Reeksting @GebhardLab

A good showing from the CAER directorship at today's winter graduation at University of Bath #climate #adaptation #environment #research

My thanks to The Bragg Centre and Royce at Leeds for the invite to present work on self healing concrete at their Bragg Exchange. It's been a great couple of days learning about amazing science.

Today, CAER hosted a seminar titled "How to prepare fellowship applications". Neil Hindley, Qingping Wang Qingping Wang, and Corwin Wright Corwin Wright gave specific advice on applying for fellowships and what worked for them. Thanks to the attendees for their engagement.

Fab trip to the University of Kitakyushu today to explore research in biomass fly ash and self-healing concretes. Thanks to Koji Takasu for organising. #innovation #sustainability
