Prepare for the moment so you’re prepared in the moment. 🪵🪓

Your habits are working for or against you. Your mindset is working for or against you. Your effort is working for or against you. All three are within your control. How you show up is up to you. Lead yourself well. Live intentionally.

The greatest leadership challenge that you have is to understand what it’s like to be coached by you. It is the foundation from which all the rest of your leadership is built.

Leadership is about connection, not charisma. It's about authenticity, not popularity. It's about listening, not always speaking. It's about humility, not just confidence. It's about being present, not just productive. Be worth following.

To lead at a higher level, you must think at a higher level. You can't operate the way you used to and get where you want to go. Make your mindset your advantage.

You'll never find time to get better. You must make time. Put it in your calendar. Don't negotiate with yourself to get out of it. Honor the commitment. Repeat regularly. Getting better doesn't happen on accident.

If the standard isn’t met under pressure then it’s not yet the standard. You return to what you rehearse.

Your culture isn’t what you hope it is or say it is. Your culture is what you create and allow each day through the way you work, the behaviors you reward, how you speak to people, how/why you make decisions, how you spend your time. Create your culture on purpose.
