We are so excited to share our work, a collaboration of over 50 authors led by Jonathan Golob, MD PhD and tomiko oskotsky leveraging public microbiome data and crowdsourcing approaches to predict preterm birth, published in Cell Reports Medicine today: cell.com/cell-reports-m… UCSF Precision Medicine UCSF Bakar Computational Health Sciences Institute

March of Dimes Sirota Lab at UCSF Marina Sirota tomiko oskotsky DREAMchallenges Michigan Medicine Our new approach for harmonizing together microbiome data from diverse studies is reported in a companion paper in Cell Reports Methods: pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/37939711/ Cell Reports

Participants in the #microbiome preterm birth DREAMchallenges Challenge develop clinically-relevant models of predicting preterm birth from vaginal microbiome composition. This huge #benchmarking effort could lead to new ways of reducing infant morbidity and mortality.

Excited to step into my new role as Chief of Women's Immuno-Biomedical Research at the Integrated Center for Women's Health in NCCHD! Grateful to my mentors, particularly Dr. Matsumoto & Prof. Nardhy Gomez—couldn't have done it without you! Looking forward to challenges ahead💪

The Gomez-Lopez lab’s recently published article in The Journal of Immunology has been featured as a top read by the editor for the December 1st issue. Notably, only two articles are selected per issue for this recognition. Congratulations to the Gomez-Lopez lab! Nardhy Gomez

WashU Medicine OBGYN Congratulations to the first author, Valeria Garcia-Flores, and to all the co-authors #NGLlab WashU Medicine including collaborators Roger Pique-Regi and Kevin R Theis at Wayne State University School of Medicine!
