We are grateful to be able to source grapes from Olsen Vineyards for the En Hommage Syrah. The site is at higher elevations in the Yakima Valley where the grapes retain acidity resulting in the food friendly wine we’ve become known for. #wawine

If I was able to name a signature variety for #wawine, Grenache would be it. This variety plays the leading role in many southern French wines that serve as inspiration; for example, Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Côtes-du-Rhône, and Gigondas. #WineWednesday

While preparing to release our next vintage of Les Terrasses Grenache for our club soon, thought of this visit to WeatherEye Vineyard last year. Judiciously managed by Ryan Johnson (on the left), WeatherEye has quickly redefined the limit of what is possible in #wawine.
