The Ressies had to settle for a 2-2 draw away to Ashcott yesterday. After taking an early lead through the returning Aaron Childs, we had a bad 10 minute spell conceding two avoidable goals. We produced a much better 2nd half performance and got an equaliser through Ed Stowell.

Ed Stowell picked up the MOM award for his commanding performance at the back and equalising goal to grab us a point. Callum Sellars also gets a mention for a solid display, as do u18 lads James Bunton and Reef Ackland.

The ressies finally picked up a home win in our final game there. A 3-1 triumph vs Minehead with goals from Kyle Box and Joss Lynden (2). Two away games to go, maybe needing to win one or both to stay out the bottom three. Joss’s opener got us going and Boxy finished it in style

What a day for the Ressies. Pushed into bottom 3 for the first time all season and pulling it out the fire in the 95th minute. Winning 2-1 at Minehead in our final game of the season. Everyone involved has dug deep over the last 2-3 months to get points on the board. Up the Ks!
