Saddened by the passing of Stanley Fischer, a towering figure in economics. His textbook Macroeconomics known simply as “Dornbusch & Fischer,” shaped my student years. I was humbled to first meet him as IMF Deputy MD & stayed in touch through his many roles. My his soul RIP.
