We Rivera-Fuentes Lab developed a novel far-red fluorescent probe for detecting S. aureus in pateint sample in collaboration with Vishwachi Tripathi Benedict Morin Aya Iizuka (@ayaiizuka.bsky.social 🦋) BumannLab Nina Khanna Lab NCCR AntiResist It is also blink that is suitable for SMLM. 🤩

We developed a genome-wide CRISPRi-library for S. aureus and used it to screen for antibiotic susceptibility determinants by CRISPRi-seq. Great collaboration! Wonderful talk by our MD-PhD student Benedict Morin discussing intracellur S. aureus survival at the 2023 SSI-SSHH-SSTTM Joint meeting in the host-pathogen interaction session

Checkout this cool R-shiny app, BactEXTRACT, made by Julien Dénéréaz! It's very handy to plot your microtiterplate data. The app is available through veeninglab.com/bactextract. Read the preprint here: microbiologyresearch.org/content/journa…

Congratulations to Krittapas Jantarug (Set)! The paper describing his far-red fluorogenic probe for Gram-positive bacteria just appeared online! Great collaboration with BumannLab and Nina Khanna Lab within the NCCR AntiResist. pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/ac…

Exciting breakthrough in T cell therapy! Researchers from Department of Biomedicine (Nina Khanna Lab) and University of Zurich have developed a method to enhance ACT against EBV-driven tumors using early-differentiated TSCMs. This approach shows improved tumor control and persistence. Congratulations
