We started our day off with the kids at Bellevue Elementary. We took a short walk down the street to Libby Hill Park, where an intense game of Sharks & Minnow commenced. They are all so excited to head to the 10k Mini next weekend! Richmond Public Schools check out these young runners!

Yesterday the super fast college athletes of Collegiate Running Association came to run with the kids at Jackson Davis Elementary. They even helped a few kids run sub-7 minute miles! We are so appreciative of their support - they are showing our kids what is possible! Henrico Schools

Tomorrow, Black Men Run RVA, November Project and We Off The Couch are co-hosting a #GlobalRunningDay event at Byrd Park fountain starting at 5:30 pm. This is a FREE event that is open to ALL AGES and ABILITIES!

On Tuesday, our runners from Brown, MLK & River City NextUp RVA run clubs were taken on a tour of U of R by one of the Collegiate Running Association athletes before hitting the track for the RichmondRoadRunners meet. They flew around that track & had a fun together to wrap up spring run club!

These kids & coaches got to enjoy some delicious SHAKE SHACK during the Friends & Family event. You too can enjoy some deliciousness during the grand opening on 6/12. They are donating $1 from every entree sold on Opening Day to support #KidsRunRVA. It’s definitely a WIN WIN!
