Loving God, grant us the grace to surrender our yokes to You, to learn from Your gentleness and humility, and to receive the rest You promise for our souls. Help us trust in Your presence, assured that in Your strength, life’s burdens are made light. Amen

Friday morning humor - It’s Friday. I’m emotionally done, spiritually unavailable, and professionally pretending. But hey, I showed up. That’s worth at least a raise or a donut.

I’m hearing that we can’t put Obama in handcuffs because that might cause civil unrest. But wait! Democrats didn’t hesitate to drop 90+ charges on Trump. They were ready to lock him up for life, and deal with the ensuing civil unrest. Besides, “No one is above the law.”
