America failed women tonight. I’m so sorry. Some of my initial thoughts:

So you’re telling me that historic turnout of young people and women were voting for Trump? And that he won millions of new voters? I don’t fucking believe it. I don’t. Something isn’t right.

I’ll always feel it deep in my bones—Joe Biden deserved a second term. He led this country with honor and dignity, leaving a legacy that history will remember kindly. He was the president we didn’t deserve. He was better than us.

There is one critical takeaway here. Kamala Harris was not the problem. She had great policy. She had strong values. She had a superb message. She had a stellar ground game. She had immense energy and compassion and love for America. Don't let anyone convince you otherwise.
