Read out letter to the EU energy Ministers- there’s no strong EU methane Regulation without imports in the scope. We need more ambition from EU Council !

EIA joined 90 organisations to call on Rishi Sunak to deliver on its promises to provide £11.6bn in climate finance. The UK has a historical responsibility to address the harm caused by cliamte change and to play a leading role in financing a global just and equitable transition

Thank you Climate & Clean Air Coalition for the opportunity to showcase our call for strengthened governance on methane finance. Moving from pledge to action requires sustained support for developing countries, who represent the vast majority of signatories.

Come and listen to our methane campaigner Kim O’Dowd speak at the #EU pavilion at #COP28 at 14:30 Dubai time. Hear Environmental Investigation Agency thoughts on the global methane pledge and what next steps are needed for success.
