these attacks at taylor swift events are primarily planned to attack & hurt women specifically. we need to talk about how both suspects were boys under 20 & how the younger generation of boys are being violent against women. what were not going to do is blame taylor or islam.

This is breaking my heart tonight. Despite every international forum and institution set up to protect human rights, women’s remain a secondary priority. Where’s the ICC on Taliban leadership? Where is the UN? Where are the signatories to the ECHR? Where is ANYBODY?

Today Parliament debated the issue of Violence Against Women and Girls. I spoke about James McMurdock, the Reform MP with a conviction for violently attacking his former girlfriend. Nobody who has served a custodial sentence for attacking a woman should be able to become an MP.
