In-person Election Day voter turnout is about 23% so far in Groton’s District 3, plus there are over 600 additional ballots with early voting and absentees, said Moderators Ari Skelcher and Reaghan Mandeville. Skelcher said voter turnout has been really steady on Tuesday.

In-person Election Day voter turnout in Groton’s District 2 was about 27% as of 2:30 p.m., plus another 626 people voted early. Poll Worker Josephine McDonald said people voting early likely decreased the flow of voters on Election Day but turnout still has been steady.
