Yesterday some of our Yr9 and 10 girls had the opportunity to do some handball training with @MLeVoiDRET and DRET Sport for the upcoming County championships. The girls had a fabulous time and gained some valuable skills.

Our 2 All Star Rugby players had a good training session followed by their first fixture today. The team displayed a fantastic performance and It was brilliant to get the team on the pitch, demonstrating why they All Star athletes.

One of the fabulous benefits of being part DRET is the close relationships we have with the other schools. Tonight some of our hockey girls had a joint training session with @barneswallispe. This was a fantastic experience for the girls building friendships and developing skills

Congratulations to our Year 9 & Year 7 football and netball teams. Last night was the first match of the Coastal league against Skegness Academy. Two wins for the netball, a draw and a loss for the football. Not a bad start!

Friday six of our students had the opportunity to attend a Basketball development day at Charnwood Collage. They spent the afternoon taking part in drills and matches with the @charnwoodbball , followed by a brilliant evening watching @ridersbball and meeting the team
