We have a number of revision and coursework catchup sessions available to students in Year 11 over the half-term break. In addition, our Study Centre will be open each day for independent study if students need a quiet place to revise. All sessions will run from 9:00am - 1:00pm.

Thank you for all your donations of empty chocolate tubs. These have now been donated, helping to both raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support, and reduce plastic waste as part of a national campaign - around 350 tubs were collected by us in total!

To celebrate World Book Day yesterday, we had a book swap, a tutor quiz to win a prize of hot chocolate during reading time, and guess the staff shelfies all week which required students to try and guess which teacher’s book shelf was in the picture based on their reading habits.

The school term ends on Friday 11th April at 2:50pm. School will reopen to all students on Monday 28th April at 8:20am. There will be a number of revision sessions during the Easter holidays for students in Years 11 and 13 in preparation for their exams.

A group of Y11 and Y13 students successfully completed the maiden flight of a model plane they built from scratch with support from STEM ambassadors. The students have worked together over recent months constructing the aircraft using lightweight materials and precision tools.
