Year 7 have been enjoying reading together, and we are delighted to have been able to gift them all a book of their own to keep. Well done Clara for this fantastic drawing, inspired by the novel.

Da Vinci Class have enjoyed a robotics day with Mr Lawrenson. They were getting hands on with the equipment and exploring the skills needed to begin basic robotics. We are excited to be able to launch our robotics club shortly.

Fantastic to have Education Secretary Gillian Keegan visit the brilliant Oakgrove School to talk to teachers and students. We have improved education standards in Milton Keynes since 2010 and I was delighted to help secure funding for extra Post-16 capacity at Oakgrove.

It was Decades Day at the secondary today and there have been some amazing outfits on display. The pupils have gone to great lengths to embrace their decades and they look super! House band played songs from the different decades over lunchtime to rapturous applause and cheering.

Year 1 were surprised by the Firefighters visiting us this week. The children were so excited to see their equipment and hear all about what to do in the event of a fire. They even practiced 'Stop, drop and roll.'
