39 Engr Regt hosted the Kinloss Running Festival. Over 300 runners competed and all the funds raised, in excess of £4000, were donated equally between SSAFA and RBLS. Last week the Commanding Officer and Sgt Simpson accepted the certificate of thanks from David Hurley - SSAFA

Preparations for Remembrance Sunday are underway at Kinloss Barracks. Drill rehearsals are essential to refresh our service personnel on their basic foot drill. This will ensure they look there best when they March through Forres on Remembrance Sunday. #royalengineers #Ubique

39 Engr Regt assisted the NTS with their archaeological work at Culloden Battlefield. The team managed to unearth a piece of sporran and musket balls. Opportunities like this allow our service personnel to broaden their interests whilst enjoying what the Highlands have to offer.

Commanding Officers PT this week consisted of a 5.6 mile TAB to the top of Califer Hill. PT not only keeps our service personnel fit and healthy, ready to deploy globally at short notice, but also allows them to get out and enjoy some of the wonderful scenery Moray has to offer.

Great to have two service personnel from 39 Engineer Regiment representing the Army Masters over the weekend against a Rugby For Heroes XV. The Army Masters came out on top, winning 41-7. Great achievement Sgt Uluikedekede and SSgt Lawton.

39 Engr Regt took on local rivals RAF Lossiemouth in the annual Remembrance football match at Mosset Park on Monday night. As expected it was a tough contest with neither side backing down. RAF Lossiemouth came out on top winning 4-2. Thank you to Forres Mechanics FC for hosting.

39 Engr Regt Dive Team have conducted a seagrass survey in the Moray Firth in partnership with Moray Ocean Community. Seagrass creates a habitat for a diverse array of sealife. The team also visited Lossiemouth Harbour to remove debris and rubbish from the harbour.

Six personnel from 39 Engr Regt represented the Corps at rugby union against their old the Royal Artillery. They came away 31-22 winners. Sport plays a key role in the military. It encourages teamwork, develops leadership as well as keeping our service personnel fit and healthy.

We are very proud of the three personnel from 39 Engineer Regiment that represented the Army U23's against their inter-service rivals, the RAF U23's last night. The Army side came out the Victor's with a 35-23 win. Well done to Spr Watts, Spr Sevodi and Spr Duguid.

39 Engr Regt rugby team took on 170 Engr Gp yesterday at Chetwynd Barracks. This was the first time the Regiment had played a fixture for over a year. Despite the long journey south 39 put in a fantastic effort and came out 96-0 winners. Thank you 170 for being fantastic hosts.

COs PT was organised by our REME Wksp celebrating St Eligius Day, the REME patron saint. Our Wksp laid down a challenge to all the other Sub-Units to design and build a gokart complete with catapult. The karts would then race around camp and compete in engineering challenges.

#PhysFriday Commanding Officer's PT this week saw the Regiment complete a 8.7 mile run along the beautiful Moray coastline in teams. The session focused on command skills, teamwork and developed the physical fitness and mental robustness of our soldiers.
