print has many qualities that make it way better - research shows that reading print is better for comprehension and retention - it's nice when books are visible / venerated – especially in a home with kids - easier to gauge progress

Saw something on here about a writer going for a year with a flip phone and no internet. I'd love to see the opposite: 30 days of an AI making your every decision – would it make life better? Worse? Would be a fascinating experiment – perhaps one that predicts the future.

Went to Fire Aid last night; an amazing show for a great cause. Made me realize how much of success is just showing up. All these artists...showed up. They even waited when it wasn't their turn! Being easy to work with and showing up puts you in the top 90th percentile.

starting to feel like we're running into a wall with ai agents. seeing multiple friends get into this loop with agent products: get off the waitlist, try it out, then immediately run into problems. they don't "just work". expectations are sky high and don't yet meet reality.
