Republic of Kiribati #WorldOceansDay is of paramount importance for small island developing states (SIDS) as they are highly reliant on healthy ocean ecosystems for their economic survival and cultural identity. These nations are often vulnerable to the impacts of ocean degradation.

Thanks to Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade 🇦🇺, UNICEF is proud to handover another fully functional WASH facility to Mamatannana Primary School in Kiribati 🇰🇮 This new facility will ensure every child in school has access to safe and clean drinking water, with facilities equipped with handwashing stations.
