Culture Counts Creative Scotland I received funding from Creative Scotland (Scottish Arts Council back then) c.2000, to write The Cutting Room, my 1st novel. It was life changing - granted me time, upped my confidence & incurred a sense of responsibility to finish the book. Decision to close Open Fund is tragic

(1/2) Yesterday I picked up Kirsty Matheson Art 's painting of Madonna, the 6th song from Schoenberg's Pierrot Lunaire. I'm so happy to have this gorgeous work in my home! Madonna is a special part of Pierrot for me, as its text and symbolism blew the whole opus wide open for me!
