Manager of the season. To get 4th place in this league with all of our injuries and European games is miraculous. Well done to Unai Emery and all of our magnificent players. Totally deserved. #avfc

Never really been a big rugby fan, but gutted this evening at the passing of Rob Burrow. What a player, and what a man. An inspiration to us all, battling against the awful disease, MND. RIP Rob Burrow CBE

Smacks of 3 years ago, let’s not lose, and try and nick something. 10 men massively behind the ball deap in our own half, their back 4 dominating proceedings. Need Watkins on to stretch the play on turnover..

After yesterdays 1-1 draw with Hanley Town, we face them in an FA Cup Extra Preliminary Round Replay at Boldmere Community Stadium on Tuesday. All your support will be greatly appreciated. #UpTheMikes

Gary Speed would have been 55 today. I know his death still produces strong emotions for so many people… and not just football fans. I try and use today as a reminder to reach out to someone who might be struggling… to send a message to a friend or catch up with a family

"He's a tactical genius... If we kept him a bit longer, he would have been a success at Arsenal." Thierry Henry, Jamie Carragher, Micah Richards and Guillem Balague have high praise for Unai Emery's tenure at Aston Villa so far 👇

It’s been a blast… Thoroughly enjoyed our time at the club, and met and made some great friends along the way. Time for somebody else to take the reins and move the club forward. ⚽️

This is why we do it. The support was unreal today, 250+ and the noise throughout and after the game was brilliant. The players and staff really appreciate the support. On to the next one, big HOME support needed next Saturday!!!

A fair reflection I’d say, two good sides having a bash, a draw a fair result in the end. Chances for both sides, we dug deep late on to earn our point. ⚽️😉👊
