Dr Alice Latinne, coordinator of Kiwa WISH+ project, is presenting the WISH approach and how we are working to improve resilience to climate-sensitive diseases and protect biodiversity in the Pacific at the #WorldOneHealthCongress currently held in Cape Town, South Africa!

WCS SI team visited project communities and presented results from baseline monitoring (riparian vegetation, coral reef health and water quality). They were also updated on ongoing and upcoming #KiwaWISH+ project activities.

🌱5,271+ tree seedlings were planted in Lovoni, Ovalau🇫🇯 as part of a reforestation effort led by WCS Fiji and the Ministry of Forestry under the Kiwa WISH+ Project! This initiative is helping restore biodiversity, improve soil health, and build climate resilience. 🇪🇺🇫🇷🇨🇦🇦🇺🇳🇿

30+ villagers from Korare – Kolombangara 🇸🇧 built a community tree nursery with the @WCS 🇸🇧and @KiwaWISH+. Once planted, these trees will support climate change adaptation, improve water quality and enhance habitat resilience and connectivity. 🇪🇺🇫🇷🇨🇦🇦🇺🇳🇿
