The way I see it, creating jobs has to be about investing in places where we haven’t been investing enough as a nation—like roads, bridges, child care, and defeating the climate crisis. And billionaires and giant corporations must pay a fair share.

For 20 years, the billionaire press told us "we can easily adapt to a warmer world". Try telling that to people in Germany, Belgium and the western seaboard of North America. And this is just one degree of heating. The media did this, as surely as the fossil fuel companies.

Agree we should push govt on policies; there is an overemphasis on reporting vs doing; ESG investing is hyped; but the truth is we are so much further than we were 20 years ago AND we all need to do more volansjohn Bloomberg
