Youth from Obiliq/Obilić just completed their Serbian A1 course! Over 3 months, 14 Albanian and Turkish students built more than language skills — they built understanding. YESS project, is supported by the UN Peacebuilding Fund and implemented by UNICEF Kosovo Programme and IOM.





Today in Prishtina, we’re kicking off the final event of four regional initiatives focused on humane migration governance — made possible through regional collaboration and local institutional engagement. Grateful to Udenrigsministeriets Borgerservice and all partners.

Yesterday in Prishtina, we marked the completion of four regional initiatives focused on migration governance. With Udenrigsministeriets Borgerservice support, local and regional actors came together to build stronger, more coordinated responses.


Through the European Union in Kosovo -funded CSP IV, IOM and the Ministry of Communities and Return equipped 3 schools with science lab tools and desks, reaching 1,200+ students. In Ponesh/s, a new 150m fence will boost safety for 120 pupils. Building inclusive, secure spaces to learn and grow.


Just wrapped up a 3-day RRR workshop in Podujevë/Podujevo! Officials from key institutions strengthened legal & operational know-how to improve coordination, case management & promote rights-based returns. Thanks to all who joined! Udenrigsministeriets Borgerservice


Under the European Union in Kosovo -funded Community Stabilisation Programme IV, IOM supported 9 community members with tools to launch farms, cafés, salons & tailoring businesses — and equipped 3 primary schools in Prizren with science lab items. Fostering livelihoods & inclusive education.


A two-day training is underway on supporting trafficking survivors with psychological and substance abuse challenges. Frontline professionals from health, police, shelters & NGOs are building trauma-informed skills to better assist VoTs. Udenrigsministeriets Borgerservice IOM Western Balkans


This week, six schools across the country received science lab equipment and furniture through the European Union in Kosovo - funded CSP IV, implemented by IOM in partnership with the MCR. Supporting better learning conditions and science education across communities.



This week, Naim Frashëri Primary School in Ferizaj/Uroševac received a full science cabinet with lab furniture and equipment through the European Union in Kosovo -funded CSP IV, implemented by IOM in partnership with MCR. ✨ Improving science education, one school at a time.


Another school received support this week under the EU-funded EU-CSP IV, implemented by IOM info-campaign in partnership with European Union in Kosovo, MCR and the local municipality of Dragash/Dragaš. A fully equipped Nursing Cabinet was established at Ruzhdi Berisha Secondary School in Dragash.


Over 25 Albanian, Serbian, Roma & Bosniak youth came together in Prizren through art, food, and debate—breaking barriers & building trust. They shared more than ideas: they shared a common goal—peace. Supported by the United Nations Peacebuilding Fund, UNICEF Kosovo Programme & IOM.


Through European Union in Kosovo -CSP IV, IOM supported FAN S. NOLI school in Podujevë/o by equipping its Mechanical Engineering cabinet. With modern tools, 200+ students now gain hands-on skills in auto mechanics and HVAC—building inclusive, job-ready futures.
