Something I Found Interesting #35 (03.08.25) "Wheeling" on drives is a growing concept in dribble-drive but also in PNR play. Drifting as the ball comes toward you makes sitting in the nail high-risk. CLE was highly effective with this concept, often finding the baseline cut.

“Blind” 1v2 ⬇️ Offense starts with the ball on the primary defenders back. Help defender is under the rim facing the rim. When the help defender turns, offense takes the ball off the back of the primary defender and they play 1v2 *Goal = reaction & working on finishing over

‼️ Sticky Words Sunday ‼️ CHOKE THE TRIGGER Teams who transition well can be contained by choking out the first pass and forcing them to dribble the ball up the floor. Aaron Fearne's tagging system is largely accepted as the gold standard for doing this (and increases ORB%).

"The beauty of the motion offense is that it doesn’t rely on just one player to make a play. It involves the whole team moving and reacting together." -Rick Pitino (Circle Motion Offense 👇)
