So glad to meet our top Penn Computer and Information Science undergraduate student, GRASP Laboratory roboticist Will Liang at the Love Run Half-Marathon finish! Good luck with your PhD Will !

What a memorable way to wrap up my PhD: I had the privilege of presenting my work on safe human-centered robotics at the GRASP SFI seminar series Penn Engineering Huge thanks to the GRASP Laboratory for inviting me and to everyone who attended! youtube.com/watch?v=50ZId5…

In 2004, I would be appointed (once again) by President Bush to serve on a Commission to advise Congress and the White House on the future of NASA, which led to this report: neildegrassetyson.com/media/pdf/Moon… At no time was basic Science viewed as an expensive luxury in need of a chainsaw

The best day of the year! I have been so fortunate to attract such amazing talent: Jiahui Evangelos Chatzipantazis Wen Jiang walked today (see pic), two more are graduating this year Yinshuang Xu and Ziyun (Claude) Wang !

I could not have been more proud of Claude and his amazing work on event-based vision. Claude is not just his great papers. He is a full stack roboticist and ne will push the envelope in neuromorphic robotics. Join him at Johns Hopkins Engineering-ing for PhD to work on research topics

Wanna see how we recorded the 2024 total solar eclipse using event cameras? I will present 🌑 "Looking into the Shadow" at the #CVPR2025 Workshop on Event-based Vision! Website: eclipse-event.cam Smarter Every Day Kostas Daniilidis Kenneth Chaney Vijay Kumar Guillermo Gallego
