Our preprint on the genome assembly of Doctor Fish (G. rufa)! G. rufa thrives above 37°C, making it a great model for cancer xenografts & infectious diseases. Finally, our genome paper on the heat-tolerant “doctor fish” is out in Scientific Data! It paves the way for studying heat tolerance and developing human cancer xenograft models at 37°C for drug screening! Worked with Mie Uni (Japan) and BRIN (Indonesia). nature.com/articles/s4159…
