Today, UN Environment Programme (UNEP) Europe 🌱 Director Arnold Kreilhuber met with H.E. Bahodur Sheralizoda, Chairman of Tajikistan🇹🇯’s CEP. They discussed the successful hosting of the 3rd High-Level International Conference in Dushanbe & reviewed UNEP's ongoing projects in the country.
As part of his visit to the country, UN Environment Programme (UNEP) Europe 🌱 Director Arnold Kreilhuber met with Parvathy Ramaswami, UN Resident Coordinator in #Tajikistan. They discussed UN Environment Programme's commitment to strengthening collaboration with the UNRCO & UNCT, including a full integration of the UNCT framework.
Dr. Klaus Töpfer was a passionate voice for the environment. As UN Environment Programme ED, Dr. Töpfer delivered important new multilateral environmental agreements, critical action on pollutants & #ClimateAction progress. The world has lost a true environment leader & we UN Environment Programme mourn this loss.
