Keep seeing more & more complicated tasks, videos, this, that & the other being pushed on teachers. That's why I love this quote. Might good teaching be all about simplifying? Focusing on fewer, better strategies & skills? Using models & methods that generalize? Food for thought!

Perfect analogy for what happens when we do too much for our students. Goal is to develop independent problem solvers who can generalize and apply what they know to what they don't know!
