Today at the New Generation Baroque Ensemble Development Day, we found Lady Dering Royal College of Music - thought to be the first female British composer to have her works published (alongside having 17 children!)Thanks NCEM & BBC Radio 3 for a great, inspiring and helpful day!

Superb performance by ⁦The Portrait Players⁩ of 17th C music by Handel, Purcell & others. Much of it done in the (female-run) Salons of Paris. Definitely an ensemble to watch!👏👏👏
