We are busy plotting our next programme for our recital on Nov 3rd St Martin-in-the-Fields showcasing the brilliance of 17th century women in Parisian salons and London theatres! Keep following as we introduce each of the remarkable women featured in our programme⦠#femmesillustres

Weāre excited to introduce a new Italian programme to 2024 with female composers such as sisters Settimia & Francesca Caccini at centre stage. SurreyHillsMusicFest have announced their super programme for this year and we are very excited to feature ! š

Today at the New Generation Baroque Ensemble Development Day, we found Lady Dering Royal College of Music - thought to be the first female British composer to have her works published (alongside having 17 children!)Thanks NCEM & BBC Radio 3 for a great, inspiring and helpful day!


Superb performance by ā¦The Portrait Playersā© of 17th C music by Handel, Purcell & others. Much of it done in the (female-run) Salons of Paris. Definitely an ensemble to watch!ššš
