Sharing a new paper just out in #AJB on my work with UMich Paleobotany on the evolutionary relationships of fossil palms doi.org/10.1002/ajb2.1… tldr: we CT scanned over 200 palm fruits to find that modern palm tribes were having a blast in the Late Cretaceous and Paleocene🌴
