We know that the journey through medical training is a long and sometimes difficult process. When did you realize you wanted to be a doctor, and where your interests were? #BreakingBarriersInRadiology #LatinxIRLeaders

On to question #3 This question is geared towards our younger #premed or even #highschool students starting to think about all things college and possibly med school. How would you describe what you do to the younger generation? #FutureDoctorInTheMaking

While self care is important, having a job that makes you excited is essential to have. What parts of your job are valuable to you? What makes it #special?

#LatinasInMedicine Narjust Florez, MD, FASCO Briana Christophers, PhD @MoraPinzonMD LMSA National LMSA West LMSA Midwest LMSA Northeast A#5 Providing my patients with quality and personal health care. I treat each of my patients as I would my family and friends. I love to see them improve after a drain placement or removing life-threatening clot from their lungs. Each day brings a new challenge.

We sort of touched on this before talking about self care, but what are some things you like to do when you are not working? #offtheclock #metime

#LatinasInMedicine Narjust Florez, MD, FASCO LMSA National LMSA West LMSA Midwest LMSA Northeast @MoraPinzonMD Briana Christophers, PhD A#7 Remember self-care is not selfish, and it is important to set boundaries to protect your “me” time and precious time with family and friends.
