Senior Laila Abdurraqib This is her first year competing in track and field. She has played basketball for 4 years at LC. She will be attending New Mexico University to continue her education and play basketball

Senior Adrian Gayhart He has been on the track team for 4 years. His best advice “Don’t rush things, your time will come” He plans to attend Marian University for Business Finance.

Senior David Bailey He has been on the team for 4 years as well as the football team at LC. He plans to attend Ball State in the fall. Best advice: Always give 100%

Senior Melaya Hughes Melaya has been in the track team for 3 years. She will be attending Indiana University for Exercise Science.

Senior Macaiya Chaney This is her first year on the track team. Following graduation she will attend the University of Kentucky to major in Sports Marketing.

Senior Zoe Powers She has been on the track team for 2 years. She will study animal science at college.

Senior Dey’la Royster Dey’la has been on the track team for 3 years. She plans to attend Clark Atlanta for Criminal Justice Her best advice: Keep pushing through even when you feel you have no more

Senior Makail McNeal Makail has been a hurdler for LC for 4 years. He will be attending IU Bloomington. His best advice: Focus on yourself and not what others are doing”

Senior Sebastian Watson Sebastian has been a distance runner on the team for 4 years and began Pole Vaulting in his last 2 years.

Senior Dalen Smith Dalen has been on the Tracy team for 3 years. He will be attending the University of Louisville in the fall.

Senior Shyla Carpenter This is Shyla’s first year as a track manager. She was also on the Cross Country team at LC. Best advice: You get what you work for not what you wish for
