Honor Graduate Tess Douglas gave her Golden Apple to Ms. Deborah Howell. "Even though her class is challenging, she makes it so much fun. Her class is one I would consistently be excited for, and that’s all because of her fun personality and genuine interest in what she teaches."

Through a partnership with Lee County Family Connection, student volunteers helped lead Family Literacy Nights monthly. LCHS students-Karlee Specht, Georgia Riley, Jaz’Myne Green, Ava Owens, Heidi Poole, & Alexis Ellis-had a blast playing Minute to Win It with students & families

Honor Graduate Jacob Posey gave his Golden Apple to TOES Music Teacher and his mom, Mrs. Jodi Posey. "She is constantly teaching me valuable life lessons and encourages me to be the best person I can be. I know she is always there to cheer me on. She is the best mom."

Honor Graduate Addyson Willis presented her Golden Apple to Ms. Danielle Whitaker. "Ms. Whitaker was an amazing teacher because I could always tell how much she truly cared. I felt safe and comfortable in her classroom, and she made learning something I looked forward to."

Honor Grad Gordon Brown gave her Golden Apple to her 5th grade teacher and big sister, Mrs. Hollyanne Craft. "I chose to give her my golden apple for teaching me everything I know in life, not only in school. She gave me my life purpose, values, and so much more."

Honor Graduate Madison Miller presented her Golden Apple to Ms. Tumblin, who now works in Dooly County, but was her 3rd grade teacher at Lee County Elementary School. "She has forever left an impression and mark on my life today!"

Honor Grad William Kirksey presented his Golden Apple to Mr. Vonnie McClung. "He was my 8th grade yearlong computer science teacher and really pushed me to be myself. He always reassured me that I would end up exactly where I wanted to be, and never once lost faith in me."
