Today we put the spotlight on Mrs. Adele DeNovio. Mrs. DeNovio has been teaching for LCPS and Farmwell Station for 15 years. Prior to living in Virginia, she was a competitive cheerleading coach in NY at both the High School and college level! Mrs. DeNovio loves teaching PE!

LCPS Intramurals puts the spotlight on Mrs. Kauren Nordstrom of Belmont Ridge. Mrs. Nordstrom has been a special educator at the school for 14 years in addition to being a high school cross country coach since 2006! She is excited to take this new role!

LCPS Intramurals shines the spotlight on Blue Ridge Middle School's Mrs. Caroline Milne! Mrs. Milne has been a dean at Belmont Ridge for the past 6 years. She will handle the outdoor sports and is passionate about creating a great student experience!

We again shine the spotlight on Famwell Station and Mr. Brian Taylor. Mr. Taylor is a dean at Farmwell Station and a long time LCPS coach in baseball, football, and currently softball. Prior to his years with LCPS, Mr. Taylor served in the Army 5th Special Forces Group!

Our Intramural spotlight shines on Mr. Steve Morris of Blue Ridge! Besides being a dean for the Bulldogs, Mr. Morris is an avid West Virginia University Mountaineer fan!

Next to enter the spotlight is Mr. Harold Claros of Mercer Middle School! He has been a teacher at Mercer for the past four years. In addition to teaching, Mr. Claros is a long time flag football coach and is looking forward to the intramural fun!

As we enter December, LCPS Intramurals shines the spotlight on Mr. Nick Williams of Sterling Middle. Mr. Williams is a PE Teacher and lifetime coach as well as a graduate of Park View High School!

The LCPS Middle School Intramural Volleyball Championships are almost here!

One of our favorite traditions at Mercer is to welcome our students back from break in style! Happy to have all of our Mountain Lions back!

Watson Mountain MS held the LCPSIntramurals volleyball championship on Friday after school. Great turnout from parents and staff to witness. Team 6 defeated Team 1 in two games. Now onto the LCPS championship next Saturday!

Congratulations to the Eagles of Eagle Ridge Middle School for capturing the 2024-2025 All-LCPS Middle School Intramural Volleyball Championship!

It’s a barn burner at the half, but the Heritage Pride ladies have the lead in the state semi-final 18-14! ROAR PRIDE!!!

They did it! The PRIDE girls move on to the state championship game! ROAR PRIDE!!!
