LCRA is temporarily changing water release operations at Tom Miller Dam through Friday for planned maintenance at the dam. Routine water releases will be made through a partially open floodgate instead of hydroelectric generation. A siren will sound before each release.

LCRA will test 6 new floodgates at Wirtz Dam Wednesday, May 7, as part of a $76M floodgate renovation project. The gates will open one at a time, and a siren at the dam will sound before each opening. Flows will not be enough to cause flooding. More info: hydromet.lcra.org/riverreport/
