Our Summer SOAR and 21st Century programs are off to a great start at all of our elementary schools! Through these summer programs students are able to participate in science, technology, enrichment, art, and music (STEAM) activities, as well as get reading and math instruction.

The East Limestone High School fishing team recently captured the 2024 Alabama Student Angler Bass Fishing Association's High School State Championship. On Tuesday night, Superintendent Dr. Randy Shearouse and board members recognized them for their achievement.

Our 5th grade students spent last week learning about cotton and the many uses of it. As part of their lesson, they took a field trip to the cotton gin at the Associated Growers Co-Op where they learned what happens from the time the cotton arrives until it's shipped out.
