Sixteen people attended our fungi walk around Crane Park Island this morning - where we found 23 species in an hour - including five on this one ash stump! 🍄🍄‍🟫🍄

Looking at the next section of London Loop in David Sharp's book from 2001, I certainly want a day with a blue sky!

Walking section 11 of the #LondonLOOP, on Sunday 3 November, which starts at Hayes and Harrington and ends at Uxbridge Station. Around 12km walk with two thirds by canals, rivers and lakes. Bonus - I found a four leaf clover! 🍀

I’ve been keeping an eye on the weather so it wasn’t too muddy and avoid the risk of flooding at Little Britain Lake. This is as muddy as it got if you want an idea of the current state of some of the paths. It’s been fairly dry last few weeks.

London Loop: Section 11 London Loop Well signed, but do take care - and no white shoes - as the stretch by the Ruver Colne is currently very muddy in places.

A bottle of shoe-stones. Memories of #walking and paths. Perhaps uncomfortable when picked up, now they make me think of Thames Path National Trail, London's other rivers, the Capital Ring, London Loop & the thousands of interesting parts of #London I've found for myself. #LoveLondonWalkLondon
