Lawyers for Uyghur Rights and World Uyghur Congress have written to GOV.UK to request Huawei 5g deal is revoked in light of reports that the company is profiting from Uyghur SLAVE LABOUR. Hearing 5G deal is dead in the water anyway. Hope rumours are true and UK does the right thing.

Lawyers for Uyghur Rights and Uyghur activists Rahima Mahmut & 安华托帝 Enver Tohti have written to GOV.UK to reconsider its 5G deal with Huawei, over allegations of forced labour. The WUC supports this initiative and hopes the GOV.UK will take into account the persecution of #Uyghurs.

It’s a disgrace that a company that is central to the oppression and suppression of an entire ethnic population has been given such an important role within the infrastructure of the UK.It is a betrayal of the core values and morals that this country stood for .
