Today our emergency service team joined a call w/ Homeland Security to discuss the ongoing domestic threat assessment. Although we’ve detected no new threats against our state following the President’s action in Iran, Dept. of Emergency Services and Public Protection is closely monitoring the situation to ensure everyone’s safety

There are more than 126 cooling centers open right now throughout Connecticut. A list of available locations is being updated by United Way of Connecticut at 211ct.org. Anyone in need of transportation to a cooling center can also call 2-1-1 to get connected to these services.
