Handing over the management of the garden to students can reap benefits in terms of confidence, self-esteem and an enhanced perception of their abilities. Imagine the emotions a child might encounter taking care of a plant for the first time, watching it grow, from seed to plant.

Last week, our #GCAggie colleagues inspired the next crop of #CdnAg researchers at St. Bernard’s Elementary School in Witless Bay, #NL, with Agriculture in the Classroom NL for #CdnAgDay.
