Did you know that it was Selfridges' 1935 Christmas display that is considered to be the first of its kind in London? 1935 was the first year that the themed windows and lights spanned the entire length of the store. Today these showcase different brands, artists and designers.

The famous 'Spirit of Christmas' angels that soar above shoppers every Christmas in Regent Street were installed in 2016, designed by Paul Dart. Paul was inspired by the first Regent Street lights in 1954 (the year rationing ended) which featured angels blowing trumpets.

New trustee Eleanor van Heyningen's favourite historic space in London is West Norwood Cemetery. "One of the 'Magnificent 7' Victorian cemeteries, I love that it not only tells the stories of so many lives, it's also a haven for biodiversity, nature & wildlife." What's yours?

🆘 This is an opportunity to step inside one of Enfield’s most significant but ‘at risk’ historic buildings, and help develop some really exciting plans for the future of this valuable community asset. ☕️ 🍰 We’d recommend stopping by, particularly if you’re local to Edmonton!
