Mallory Uhlig, Caleb Anderson, & Ellie Jaffe received the 2025 Christo Servus Award for their Christian character & servant hearts. Each of these students has served the church, school, and community. They display exemplary character & are role models in our community. Congrats!

Our Kairos groups were busy helping out with various service projects this year. From bonding with Christian Friends of New Americans to making friendship bracelets with residents at Laclede Groves, these students did an excellent job of displaying Christ's love!

And it begins! Our first week of summer camp is officially in the books. Baseball and basketball campers have been here all week, perfecting their skills, meeting new friends, and having a blast. Let's keep this fun going! #LuSoSummer

Sam Dicken & Cody Abbas were named 1st Team All-District for volleyball. Kyle Buscher & William Krauss were selected for 2nd Team All-District. Four players earned All-State Academic honors. Sam, Kyle, Will, and Ben Faulstich all earned this distinction. Congrats!

Michael Lind was voted All-District MVP! Mason Beshears, Grant Blair, Jacob Cody, Ben Combs, Jack Dalton, Vince Dalton, Teegen Krietler, & Tyler Voss were named 1st Team All-District. Kannon French & Dustin Duke earned 2nd team. They were also selected for All-Conference team!

Congrats to the girls soccer players who made the Metro League All-Conference team. Both Riley Portell & Bailey Wilson received 1st Team recognition. Wyatt Haines, Ava Arnavat, & Reece Bonastia all earned 2nd Team honors. Goalie Lorelei Yearout receieved an honorable mention!

Ike Fronabarger was selected to be a part of Team Missouri for the Great Southwest Track & Field Classic. The team is comprised of the top athletes across the state. Ike was selected for the 200m, 4X200m, & the long jump, which he won. Congrats, Ike!

More than 100 alumni from the Class of 1975 celebrated their 50th reunion! They were amazed at all the changes that have taken place since the 70s, not only to the building, but to our schedule, class offerings, and everything that goes into making South such a great place!

The Lancerettes returned from UDA camp this week, where the girls gathered with other dance teams to learn several new routines, practice skills, take master classes, and attend squad workshops. These girls definitely put in the work, preparing them for their upcoming season!

Gordon Ko, LS '21, was the commencement speaker at the University of California, where he graduated with a degree in engineering. He plans to earn a doctorate in chemical engineering and aims to develop new vaccines and treatments as a research scientist.

Soccer players from 7th-12th grade joined us for our Dutch Touch Soccer Camp! Guest Coach Jan Pruijn led the camp, providing an opportunity for these players to learn and improve their game before soccer season!

The Class of 1965 celebrated their 60th Reunion this month! They gathered for lunch at the Boathouse at Forest Park and toured the school the next day. They had the best time reminiscing and sharing stories as they walked the halls of their alma mater! #OnceALancerAlwaysALancer

Lydia Gilbert and Wyatt Haines attended the Missouri Scholars Academy, a program at Mizzou designed for rising juniors who wish to further enhance their education. The program utilizes a curriculum with courses and activities to provide a unique learning experience.
