LILA was honored to have hosted a visit from France’s Ambassador to the United States, His Excellency Laurent Bili, accompanied by France’s Consul General to Los Angeles, Julie Duhaut-Bedos and Higher Education and French Language Attaché, Benoit Labat. Merci à nos invités!

For the Pasadena campus's annual camping trip, they spent 3 days and 2 nights in Leo Carrillo State Park. Students learned how to surf and rock climb, then hiked mountains and explored tide pools, alongside their teachers and parents.

This past weekend, 37 of our LILA Lions transformed into powerful diplomats! They attended the Model UN conference at UCLA, where they were empowered to hone their skills in research and collaboration and to tackle tough problems with radical hope.

Some of our littlest LILA Lions got the first peek at the Los Feliz art show. Each art piece exhibited was created for the theme “Animals,” as seen through various lenses of human existence and their corresponding art styles. All made by 1st-4th graders!

We were very pleased to host the 10th graders of the Lycée International of Los Angeles Lycée International de Los Angeles and show them how we design experiments to learn about decision-making.

The Marche d'hiver event on our Los Feliz campus gave students a chance to make crafts, see friends, and sell items to support their 5th grade trip to France

LILA alumni in town from around the world met and mingled with parents from all four campuses this morning. Some of the farthest flung attendees came all the way from Oxford and Amsterdam, where they attend university. LILA alums go on to great things!

To celebrate Galette des Rois, students at the Los Feliz campus decorated crowns and ate galette filled with traditional frangipane, searching for the fève hidden inside.

Julie Duhaut-Bedos recently posthumously appointed, in an intimate ceremony, Lycée International de Los Angeles teacher Philippe Detzen Chevalier in the order of the Palmes Académiques for his lifelong educational work. We keep Ms Renee Tempel, his wife and his family in our thoughts.
